Founded in 1917, LEUCHTTURM1917 can look back on over 90 years of experience in the production of high-quality stationery. All LEUCHTTURM1917 items unite the belief that success stems from quality and well thought-out detailed solutions, experience and consistency being key requirements for quality. Some items, such as the spring back binder, are still made in the same way as they were back in the days when the company was first set up. Today, LEUCHTTURM1917 stands for premium quality in more than 50 countries. Their vast range in size and colour, as well as the variance in ruling (dotted, plain, ruled and squared) make them ideal companions for all walks of life.

Our aim is to deliver your goods on time, securely and economically, normally 2/3 working days from the dispatch date (the majority of orders are processed next working day) however there are times due to circumstances outside our control such as special orders, whereupon we are waiting for goods from our suppliers or perhaps personalised orders including engraving or printed goods which may take longer. We will always let you know.

NB: Opening hours for Penfax on-line and mail order are 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. We do not process orders on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. Any orders which arrive on these days will be processed at the next most convenient working day.

We use several courier organisations and will choose the most appropriate for your order. All orders will be sent securely usually via a signed for service, allowing all goods to be tracked and arrive at their destination promptly. Local orders may even be delivered by hand.

In most circumstances a signature will be required to ensure goods arrive safely.

All orders to United Kingdom over £50.00 include FREE Royal Mail Signed For - 1st Class.

For order values under £50.00, a choice of 1st or 2nd class is available (NOT Signed For)

James Sinclair handmade notebooks available in large A5 or small B6 size in four different designs of Northumbrian 100% wool tweed. Each notebook is handmade using time served traditional skills and techniques with the highest quality materials, and bears a colour-coordinated ribbon page marker. 114 Cream lined 90gsm pages available in lined format ideal for writing and sketching. Each notebook has a leather embossed label attached to the front cover to enhance overall quality.

100% Northumberland Tweed
1. Alnwick: Green and fawn with a splash of red and violet.
2. Bamburgh: Purples, violets and hues of pale green.
3. Langley: Dark reds and browns mixed with light green.
4. Norham: Rich hues of reds and oranges with a touch of dark blue.

The James Sinclair Collection is part of an exclusive range of unique products designed and developed by Penfax. These products are only available via the Hexham shop or Penfax website. James Sinclair Collection was launched 2017 as a range of stationery and fine desk accessories designed and produced in England. The products are finished in four different designs of Northumbrian Tweed, created by Rosstweed at the Scottish border. All pieces are handmade using time-served skills and techniques and quality materials.
